Cross-country road trips are a quintessentially Canadian bucket list item and if you’re planning a road trip this summer Northbound Supply Co. has something exciting to announce!
We’re paying for gas and $50 per day to spend at Tim Hortons for one lucky influencer (or a car full if you want to get your friends together) planning a trip across Canada! Of course, we’ll also supply you with enough Northbound swag for your group.

Here are a few must-know road trip tips, courtesy of our team:
- Be sure to check out the ‘points of interest’ in the small towns you pass by. Almost every small town has a “biggest in the world” monument that defines it. Don’t forget to snap a photo!
- Check out all the cool clothing shops, especially the thrift and antique stores. Many of them have a fascinating history. Fun fact: Did you know there is a rumour that the old buildings of Athabasca, Alberta’s main street used to have tunnels running through them where people would gamble and have parties in the 70s?
- Read up on many of these towns in advance and you might discover some very cool facts about the local industry, population, founding, and notable people from there, including inventors, politicians, and NHL hockey players
- Never let your tank go below quarter full! Always have plenty of water, Timmies coffee and a camera at the ready
“We love the different smells as you leave the cities behind,” says Northbound Supply Co., co-founder Justin Peikert, “Especially the colours of the trees, the crops and orchards, and the Lake Country!”
Of course, no Canadian road trip would be complete without a visit (or several!) to Tim Hortons along the way.
“A road trip ritual of mine is definitely to have Tim Hortons, I love leaving early in the morning when it's nice and quiet, having the sunrise while you're driving on the highway,” says Justin, “There’s nothing like driving through the farmland and escaping the big city.”
